Privacy policy

Effective 5 October 2026

Car Log keeps a service history for your cars from the receipts, invoices and sentences you send it in ChatGPT or Claude. This page says what Car Log stores, who can see it, and how you take it out or delete it.

Who runs Car Log

Car Log is run by Rustam Samandarov, Tashkent, Nurafshon 38, 5, Uzbekistan. For any question about your data, write to support@rsteam.uz.

What Car Log stores

  • Your account: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, also your Google profile picture and the sign-in tokens Google issues for your account.
  • Sign-in sessions: each time you sign in on karlog.rsteam.uz, a session with the IP address and browser it came from.
  • The connection to your assistant: when you connect Car Log in ChatGPT or Claude, the app registration the assistant creates, the access you approved and the access tokens it uses.
  • Your cars: make, model, year, odometer reading and service intervals.
  • Your records: for each service event you save, its date, odometer, services, garage, invoice number, amount, currency and line items, how sure the assistant was of each value, the checks Car Log flagged, and the sentence you asked to save it with.
  • Corrections: every change, confirmation or undo of a record value, with the value it replaced. The value a field first held stays in this log.
  • Original documents: the photo or PDF a record came from, with its file name, type and size, when you send it with the record or attach it later.
  • Share links: each link you create, the car it opens, whether originals are included and when it expires.

Records and account data are kept in Car Log's database; original documents are kept in Car Log's file storage. Both run on the operator's server in Germany (Contabo). Car Log keeps no scheduled backups of your data.

Cross-border transfer: Car Log's operator is in Uzbekistan and its server is in Germany, so the data you send Car Log leaves Uzbekistan and is stored and processed in Germany.

Other services Car Log uses

  • Resend sends the sign-in code email, so it receives your email address and the code.
  • Google signs you in when you choose Google sign-in.
  • ChatGPT or Claude is your own assistant: you choose it, and it works with Car Log under its own privacy terms.

Car Log takes no payments and uses no analytics.

Your documents and your chat

Car Log does not read your documents. The assistant you use (ChatGPT or Claude) reads the document and passes Car Log the values it found and how sure it is of each. Car Log checks them, for example that the line items add up to the total and that the odometer reading is plausible, and saves them. Car Log has no image or text recognition of its own; it keeps the file only as the record's original.

Your chat messages are not stored. Car Log receives only what the assistant sends when it uses a Car Log tool: the values to save, the sentence you asked to save, and the file. Your conversation stays with ChatGPT or Claude under their own privacy terms.

Sign-in and email

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with Google. Car Log has no passwords. A sign-in code expires after 5 minutes, and the code is the only email Car Log sends.

When you sign in with Google, Google gives Car Log your name, email address and profile picture. If Google reports the email address as verified and a Car Log account already uses it, the Google sign-in joins that account.

karlog.rsteam.uz uses cookies only to sign you in and keep you signed in. Its pages load no analytics or advertising scripts, and its fonts are served from karlog.rsteam.uz itself.

Who can see your data

Car Log shows your cars, records and documents only to your own account. Nobody else sees them unless you create a share link.

A share link opens a read-only page of one car's history to anyone who has the link, without signing in. The page shows the car, its odometer, its records (date, odometer, service, garage, amount and source) and their corrections. It does not show your name or email address.

By default the page shows which records are backed by a document but not the documents. When you ask to include the originals, anyone with the link can open each stored original exactly as it was stored, unredacted: whatever is printed on it, such as your name, address or registration number, is visible.

A share link stops working after 30 days, or earlier when its car is deleted or you delete all your Car Log data. If its car is archived, the link keeps working.

Taking your data out

Ask the assistant to export a car and Car Log gives you a CSV with one row per record, showing both the original and the corrected value wherever something was changed, and a ZIP of the car's stored original documents. Both come as download links that work for 24 hours for whoever has them, and each file is built from your data at the moment the link is opened.

Deleting your data

You can delete one record: Car Log shows what will go and deletes the record, its corrections and its stored original only after you type the word "delete".

You can delete all your Car Log data: every car, record, correction, service interval, share link and original document. Car Log offers an export first and deletes only after you type the word "delete". The data is deleted at once and cannot be undone.

Deleting all your data keeps your account (name, email address and sign-in method) and the connection to your assistant, so you can go on using Car Log. There is no button to close the account itself: to close it, email support@rsteam.uz and the operator deletes the account by hand.
